The Kelley Arts and Crafts Center is proud to participate in the 2024 Turning for Troops initiative. This global effort involves wood crafting facilities creating pens for U.S. Service Members.
We invite you to help us create handmade pens for our troops. No woodworking experience is necessary! Our volunteers and staff will guide you through the pen-turning process.
All supplies are provided. Simply stop by the Kelley Arts and Crafts Center during our designated days and times to help create pens for troops. Finished pens will be returned for distribution to troops all around the world.
Turning Dates and Times:
- Sept. 5 & 6 | 4-7 p.m.
- Sept. 7 | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Sept. 12 & 13 | 4-7 p.m.
- Sept. 15 | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Oct. 3 & 4 | 4-7 p.m.
- Oct. 5 | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Oct. 10 & 11 | 4-7 p.m.
- Oct. 14 | 12-3 p.m.
