Patch Arts & Crafts

1. Is there a cancellation fee for programs?

Cancel 48 hours prior to event for full refund.  Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to scheduled event results in forfeiture of all funds.

2. What classes/programs/services do you offer?

We offer a variety of classes, such as sewing, quilting, kids crafts, painting, and framing.

3. Is there an age restriction?

All classes are age specific and noted. Instructors may authorize younger children, if an adult agrees to assist.  

4. May I have my artwork shipped to me?

If you have any artwork to be framed or otherwise, we do not offer shipping.

5. What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, check, or charge. Euros are not accepted.

6. What is the earliest/latest you may sign up for a program?

Class sign-ups are accepted until the class start time, as long as space is available. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be canceled 48 hours in advance.

7. How can you become a contracted instructor?

Contact the Arts & Crafts office for a contractor packet.

8. How long does pottery take to be fired and glazed?

The pottery takes about two weeks from the time you complete your piece until it is fired, glazed, and ready for pickup.

9. How much do classes/programs/services cost?

Costs vary.  Contact the Patch Arts and Crafts Center for current pricing.

10. How do you volunteer to teach classes?

Contact the Arts & Crafts office for information.

11. Do you have quilting equipment available for customer use?

Yes, after a training class you will be qualified to use our equipment as a self-helper.

12. Do you offer custom framing?

Yes,  we can custom frame your project or you can become a "self-framer", after a certification course. Class availability is posted on the webpage. Once certified, one can use our facilities as a self-helper and avoid the labor fees.

13. What type of art supplies do you sell? Can you order certain items if they are not available in the store?

Fine Arts, sewing, crafting, scrap booking, etc. Please check with associates for items not currently sold as most items can be ordered through our distributors.  

14. Do you have a delivery option for your balloon services?

This is a service that is currently unavailable. 

Kelley Arts & Crafts/ Woodshop & Framing Studio

No.

2. What classes/programs/services do you offer?

  • Woodworking Machine Safety Class ($50)
  • Framing Class ($60)
  • Custom plaques
  • Furniture repairs (broken chairs, refinish tables)
  • Repair frames and build frames
  • Wood engraving (if you need any other materials engraved, please visit the Arts & Crafts Center on Patch Barracks)

3. Is there an age restriction?

Yes, the minimum age is 18 years to take the heavy machine safety course.  Youth can use hand tools under active adult supervision - at all times, no exceptions.

4. May I have my artwork shipped to me?

This service is not provided.

5. What forms of payment are accepted?

The Kelley Woodshop and Framing Studio accepts credit card only.

6. How can you become a contracted instructor?

7. How long does pottery take to be fired and glazed?

About 6-10 days.

8. How much do classes/programs/services cost?

  • Woodshop Safety Class: $50 one-time fee
  • Framing Class: $60
  • Labor Fee: $25 for 1 hour (repair chairs, refinish tables)
  • Cut Wood: with assistance $ 0.50 each cut
  • Framing Fee: depends on dimensions of project

10. Do you have quilting equipment available for customer use?

Please visit the Patch Arts & Crafts Center for all of your quilting needs (including fabric for sale, quilting equipment, and more.

11. Do you offer custom framing?

Yes.

12. What type of art supplies do you sell? Can you order certain items if they are not available in the store?

Only rough-cut lumber (no dimensional lumber).  Any other supplies can be purchased at the Patch Arts & Crafts Center.

13. Do you have a delivery option for your balloon services?

Balloons are available from the Patch Arts and Crafts Center.
