The 2024 Army Emergency Relief (AER) Donation Campaign takes place from Mar. 1 - Jun. 1. AER is the official non-profit (501 (c)(3)) of the U.S. Army. AER's mission is to provide grants, interest-free loans and scholarships to promote readiness and help relieve financial distress of Soldiers and their Families. Donations to AER are tax deductible. In 2023, USAG Stuttgart families (both Active Duty and Retired) received $60,903 in emergency financial assistance. And overall, provided over $53 million dollars in assistance to eligible Soldiers and families.
AER is not funded by the government and is not part of the CFC campaign. Therefore, it relies on donations from active duty, retired service members, American citizens, and corporations to continue their great work.
