Army Emergency Relief is a vital resource for commanders and leaders to help provide financial assistance so Soldiers can concentrate on the mission at hand. AER’s Mission is to provide grants, interest-free loans and scholarships to promote readiness and help relieve financial distress of Soldiers and their Families. In 2024, the USAG Stuttgart AER office provided over $54,000 in AER assistance. So far this year, your Garrison AER Officers distributed $31,797 to assist with Housing, POV, Utilities, Food and Emergency Travel.
