Rhine in Flames on July 6th, 2024 - The unique traditional firework event on the River Rhine in Germany. Join the celebration along the bank of the Rhine as the river and the skies light up. As the name implies, the Rhine literally 'bursts into flames'! You can join the spectacular fireworks of the Rhine in Flames show. Suddenly the castles are illuminated in green and red, the darkness explodes in a thousand glittering stars and the towers and turrets are bathed in the mysterious glow of Bengal lights. Whilst up on the heights it seems as if a volcano is erupting, the river below has become a shimmering sea of colored lights. One of the finest ways to watch the show is from on board a boat floating on the river of light. Aboard a 2-course dinner cruise, when ordering, you need to specify if you want to order vegetarian food, and entertainment music with a DJ (hits of the 70s to the 90s). Drinks are not included in the price. The ship sails out from Wiesbaden towards the romantic Upper Middle Rhine Valley to enjoy the views as the sun is setting. On the return on the river, you will pass through 7 firework launches on your way back while floating on the Rhine.
