Sewing 1 is the first in a two-part series that introduces individuals to machine sewing. Students learn the parts of the sewing machine and how to thread and operate the machine. All participants will create a small project. Once students have completed Sewing 1 and 2, they are allowed to use the facilities' sewing machines during business hours for a small fee. They can also enroll in Sewing 3, a changing monthly project that focuses on different sewing skills.
These sessions are focused for individuals ages 8+.
Cost
The cost for this event is $40, and all materials are included in the price of the project.
