Patch Arts and Crafts Center is thrilled to offer Quilting 101, a comprehensive six-week course designed to teach participants the basics of Quilting.
This beginner-friendly program is perfect for anyone with basic sewing machine skills who wants to explore the rewarding world of quilting. *Knowledge of machine sewing required.
In Quilting 101, you'll learn everything you need to know to create your own beautiful quilt, including:
- Essential quilting tools and their uses.
- Mastering rotary cutting techniques for precise fabric squares.
- Selecting the perfect fabrics to bring your vision to life.
- Choosing the right batting to provide warmth and structure.
- Constructing a quilt sandwich: the foundation of your masterpiece.
- Selecting and attaching a beautiful backing fabric.
- Sewing quilt blocks together to create a stunning top.
By the end of this course, you'll be well on your way to completing your very first quilt!
