The class explains the importance of controlling personal finances and planning for a stable financial future. Through examples of successful and unsuccessful money management, participants will explore the importance of a budget, recognize the signs of financial trouble, and gain understanding of the military pay system with its allowances and benefits. By teaching money management skills, participants will develop the ability to successfully manage personal finances.
