Come out and learn the fundamentals of photography. This comprehensive class is designed for aspiring photographers that have minimal experience behind the camera, or for those who want to better understand their cameras. In a classroom environment, we will cover the following topics with hands on explanation: the camera, shutter, sensor, ISO, lens, aperture and depth of field, focusing, metering, exposure modes, settings and workflow, lighting, composition on camera flash, camera maintenance, and much more.

Equipment requirements: DSLR/mirrorless type camera with lens, batteries, compact flash cards/SD cards, tripod (optional).

Classroom Dates/Times:
 Aug. 6, 8, 13 and 15, 6 - 8:30 p.m.

Cost

$100 for 10 hours of instruction
