MWR Tour: Schnapps Tasting on Black Forest Hike

Schnapps hiking? Ever heard of the honesty bars scattered around Europe? Have a true authentic and German experience with our Tour leading you through the Black Forest and into beautiful German homes. Each home/stop we will make has fountains and unique set ups with flowing water in hand made mini wooden barrels full of a huge selection of any flavored schnapps you could imagine! Most flavors are made with Germany’s fruits. Each stop has Schnapps made from that home. You will have 6 stops. Don't forget to bring your own € coins to taste! In many of the fridges and stops, even bottles of wines and unique homemade snacks and goodies are sold on the honor systems. Bring your € change, and be ready to explore and wander like the Germans do! To compliment a relaxed walk with plenty of rests between each stop, bring your own snacks/lunch. Head out on this 4.7-mile loop trail near Sasbachwalden, Baden-Wuerttemberg. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2h 24 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. This is also a great hike for the kids! Not too long, easy but fun, plenty of space for them to run around, and lots of natural juices for them as well!
