Join us for a shopping tour of Polish Pottery and a walking tour in Wroklaw! Polish Pottery is the collective term for fine pottery and stoneware produced in the town of Boleslawiec, in south-western Poland. The ceramics are characterized by an indigo blue polka dot pattern on a white background or vice versa. The art originated in the late Middle Ages, but it fully developed in the 19th century and has continued ever since. The scope of the stoneware ranges from teapots and jugs to plates, platters, and candelabras. It became one of Poland's unofficial cultural symbol.
Then transfer over to the beautiful, vibrant city of Wroclaw. It is the fourth largest city in Poland, and is well known for its beauty, vibrant character, universities and colorful Market Square. Situated on the Oder River, with its 12 islands and 112 bridges, Wroclaw is one of the oldest Polish cities. It's also host to the Grunwald Bridge built in 1910, which used to be the longest suspension bridge in Europe. The city is rich in remarkable works of art and architecture. Your tour guide will guide you through some of the best and share his favorite Pierogi restaurants to enjoy while in the city!
