MWR Adventure Tour: White Water Rafting

Paddle forward! Paddle backward! Right back, left back! Believe it or not, but you’ll be dreaming of these commands long after your return from this gorge rafting experience in the Oetztal.

The Imster Gorge is practically made for rafting. This stretch of river challenges you to fight the spectacular rapids of the legendary Rohrbrückenschwall, the infamous Memminger Walze, and the not-to-be-missed Prallwand, before you can go ashore again in the quaint Haiming area. Even the calmer river sections on this rafting trip in the Oetztal provide you with splashy water action and a dip in ice-cold water.

Required: Good swimming skills, physically sound & good condition.

Please bring along: Swimwear, a towel, as well as something to change into after the tour.

Showers, changing rooms, and lockers are available on site. Your wetsuit, helmet, and vest (rafting equipment) are provided by the company.
