Munich Bike Tour

See more of Munich with two wheels!  Join ODR for a wonderful sight-seeing tour of the city by bike. Since we are able to cover a lot more ground pedaling through the city than by foot we will be able to appreciate many of Munich’s top attractions in one day.  Points of interests include Marienplatz, the Glockenspiel, Hofbrauhaus, the English Garden, Munich’s surfers (they really are there!), The Residence, and many more! 

Tour is about 4 hours in duration and we cover approximately 4 miles riding.  There is a scheduled lunch stop about 2 hours into the tour (lunch cost not included) at the Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower) Beer Garden. 

After our tour we will have some free time in Munich to explore on our own, visit places not seen on the tour, and grab a bite to eat before heading back to Stuttgart. 

We will get back to Outdoor Recreation at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday night (depending on traffic and weather conditions).

•    Fee covers transportation, train transfers, bike rental & tour with guide.
•    Participants need to bring/wear comfortable clothing and shoes, sun protection, Euros for meals and souvenirs (also a tip for the bike tour guide is appreciated), camera, and sense of adventure.  Some bikes have baskets but not all.  A backpack to hold all of your goodies is a good idea.

Trip departs from Outdoor Recreation, Panzer Kaserne, Bldg #295, Saturday morning at 7 a.m. and returns around 10 p.m. that night.
