Maginot Line

Tour the largest fortification still standing-Hackenberg!

#
Note: This event has already passed.

The Maginot Line was a line of concrete fortifications, obstacles, and weapon installations built by France in the 1930s to deter invasion by Germany that would force them to move around the fortifications.

Our day begins with a guided tour of the largest remaining fortification, Hackenberg.

We then venture into the nearby town of Thionville for lunch and an English tour, “Thionville Reveals its Secrets.”

After our tours, we will spend some time at the Lorraine American Cemetery before continuing our journey home.

Cost

$125 per person.

Cost includes tranportation and two English guided tours.
