The Game — Audition

The Game, our official One Act Play Festival entry, is a captivating dark comedy that brings the ultimate cosmic battle to the stage. On the brink of despair, two disillusioned artists prepare to surrender to the void—until their destinies become the subject of a high-stakes wager between Life and Death. With a roll of the dice, Life sets out to spark an unexpected romance in the hope that love can triumph over despair, while Death patiently awaits his inevitable victory. Will a chance connection be enough to defy fate, or is the game already lost?

Blending sharp wit with thought-provoking existential themes, The Game is a compelling morality play that explores love, hope, and the enduring struggle between destiny and free will.

🎭 Audition Details:

• For Actors ages 18 and up
• Character ages are suggested guidelines. Casting decisions will be based on the performer's ability to appear as and act the specified age.
  • 1 Male (18-25 years old)
  • 1 Female (18-25 years old)
  • 1 Male (40 years old and up)
  • 1 Female (40 years old and up)
• No prepared pieces or monologues are required. However, we recommend that you read the script in advance to be fully prepared for the audition.
• Actors will be asked to read from the script.
