🍂🌽🎃 Mark Your Calendars for the CYS Harvest Fest! 🎃🌽🍂

Get ready for a day filled with fall fun and family-friendly activities at our annual CYS Harvest Fest! Join us October 5 on Panzer Kaserne on the playground behind Bldg. 2917 & 2918 (former Patch Elementary School). It's the perfect way to celebrate the season with your little ones.

🐴 Pony Rides: Let your children's dreams come true with delightful pony rides, a highlight for kids of all ages!

🏰 Bounce Houses: Jump into a world of fun with our bounce houses, where kids can bounce, slide, and laugh to their hearts' content.

🎨 Arts & Crafts hosted by CYS programs: Let your little ones explore their creative side with arts and crafts activities hosted by CYS programs. Kids can make fall-themed masterpieces to take home. The various CYS programs are creating activities at each of their booths that correlate to an animal in the book that is being read during the event.  The book is “The Way Home for Wolf.”  Kids will receive a stamp to mark their “adventure.” Example arts & crafts:

• Bear Moth Button Making

• Goose’s Friendship Bracelets

🎯 Games & Activities hosted by CYS programs: Join in the excitement with games and activities hosted by CYS programs. There's something for everyone. The various CYS programs will have activities at each of their booths that correlate to an animal in the book that is being read during the event. Kids will receive a stamp to mark their “adventure.” Example games & activities:

• Narwahl Ring Toss

• Moose Project

📖 Join the special book reading at 11:30 a.m. inside the gymnasium of Bldg. 2918. "The Way Home for Wolf" will be the book for the reading.  

🍖Someone is bound to get hungry with all this excitement.  Three private organizations are planning to be at the event with food options like BBQ chicken, baked beans and rice, and baked goods.  Other activities our private organizations are planning to provide include "Soak a Cop" with an MP patrol vehicle display, face painting, sack races, t-shirts and bracelets.

If there is rain, don't worry, the event will go on in spite of rain. The bounce houses may be cancelled under these conditions; however, pony rides will continue, and most activities will be moved into the gym while some other activities may remain outside.
