Step into the wild and build real‑world confidence at our Basic Wilderness Survival Skills Course on Jul. 1, held at the Panzer Range Complex. This immersive 4–5 hour hybrid training experience begins with a classroom session at the Garden of Eden, covering survival psychology and essential preparation.

From there, participants move outdoors for hands‑on instruction in water filtration, fire‑starting with natural tinder and flint and steel, emergency Mylar blanket shelter techniques, and practical map‑and‑compass navigation. Designed to strengthen outdoor safety, teamwork, and mental resilience, this course gives BOSS service members valuable skills that bridge basic field craft and real‑world emergency survival.
