Looking for a fun and active way to explore Stuttgart? Join us for Wild Ride Stuttgart: Wilhelma Zoo, a scenic and educational cycling trip perfect for solo riders, friends, and families of all skill levels. This is your chance to combine fitness, sightseeing, and a full day of nature and wildlife in one unforgettable experience!
Starting at Kelley Barracks, the group will cycle through city parks, riverside paths, and urban landscapes before arriving at the world-renowned Wilhelma Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Along the way, you'll learn Stuttgart’s bike-friendly routes, how to use the Zacke Train (U10) with your bike, and enjoy local insight from a knowledgeable tour guide.
This fall ride promises cooler weather and stunning autumn foliage—making it the perfect time for a long urban trail. We’ll depart at 9 a.m. and return around 6 p.m, giving you a full day to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of one of Germany’s most vibrant destinations.
๐ Why Wilhelma Zoo?
Wilhelma is the only combined zoological-botanical garden in Germany, originally built as a royal retreat in 1846 by King Wilhelm I of Württemberg. It blends exotic Moorish-style architecture with rare plants and over 11,000 animals from 1,200 species its no wonder why Wilhelma ranks among the most species-rich zoos in the world.

- $35 per person – includes bike, helmet, lock, and tour guide
- FREE for participants with their own bikes (registration still required)
- Zoo Entry Fee: €23 Adults | €9 Children
- Train Ticket (Zacke U10): €4
