Every year, in the run-up to Christmas, the city is filled with festive splendour: the Dome of Lights shines brightly, the smell of roasted almonds fills the air, and the Düsseldorf Christmas market attracts visitors with arts and crafts, the Old Town market and delicious treats. Not forgetting the ice-skating rink at the end of the Königsallee, which invites you to go ice skating in winter year after year. The entire Düsseldorf city centre is transformed into a Christmas paradise, lined with hundreds of Christmas trees. Stroll around, buy presents and experience Christmas - n Düsseldorf, everything is just a mulled wine away. And if you need a change of scenery, take a ride on the Ferris wheel on Burgplatz and enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view of the city.
