MWR Tours Volunteer Training

MWR Tours would like to welcome willing and responsible volunteers to lead our tours and strengthen our program. We have a fun and busy season coming up, which means we will need many volunteers to lead our trips.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to leading day trips to cities around Europe or leading other activities that interest you, like the adventure and active tours. Leading the tours will involve counting and checking in customers to the bus, as well as answering questions and being there for them, representing MWR Tours. In order for you to participate and volunteer on our tours as a lead, you will need to complete this hour-long training with our manager and complete and sign paperwork to get you into the volunteer system. 

We will go over expectations with you, and in exchange, you get a fun getaway at no cost to you!

Directions on how to register: 

1. Register for a VMIS account or transition your old account.

2. After you register, select the upper-left menu button (3 horizontal bars) and select "Volunteer Management Information System."

3. Complete profile as prompted. 

4. Once complete, select "Opportunities" on the left side. 

5. Search for "Tour Operator."

6.  Click on the "Tour Operators" position under "Community Recreation-MWR Tours."

7. Select "Apply" and navigate through the prompts. 

8. MWR Tours will then be in touch with you soon.
