While Dachau is dreary, saddening, and in many ways the face of evil, it is also one of the most unforgettable places in Germany. To many, it is one of the most important places to visit while living overseas. It now stands as a memorial to all victims of the Holocaust.

We will spend the morning exploring this dark part of European history with a guided tour of the camp. Due to the sensitive nature of the camp, the material covered on the tour, and for the respect of the memory, it is asked that no-one under the age of 14 participate in the tour. Children 13 and under are welcome to come on the trip as long as a parent or guardian is with them at all times but not on this part of the tour - only one tour will be given. Parents will not be able switch (unfortunately no discounts will be given for parents that are not able to participate in the tour).

Participants should bring:

• bring/wear weather appropriate clothes
• comfortable walking shoes
• backpack for personal belongings (no access to bus during the day)
• camera
• euros for meals and souvenirs

Trip departs ODR at 7 a.m. and returns approximately 10 p.m.
 

Cost

Price covers transportation, guided walking tour of Dachau Concentration Camp, drop-off and pick-up in Munich, and ODR escort.

Registration Information

To register for any of our trips or tours, please come by our office on Panzer Kaserne or give us a call during normal business hours (Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.). All participants must be 18 years old to attend event/trip/tour by oneself. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. All trips are subject to change. Trips may be cancelled due to lack of participation. Minimum participation must be met by September 6. If minimum is reached, then registration is open until trip is full.
