The Royal Winter Magic is not a traditional Christmas market, but rather a uniquely curated exhibition both inside and outside the castle. Instead of bustling stalls and crowds, it offers a festive atmosphere steeped in historical elegance. In the Count’s Hall, a twelve-meter-long table will be on display, set with original tableware and silver from the imperial collection, flanked by a magnificent seven-meter-high Christmas tree. The other chambers will also be enchantingly decorated, each offering its own seasonal splendor.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the Christmas world of royalty and nobility. In the castle’s Catholic chapel, an exhibition will showcase the history of glass Christmas ornaments. As dusk falls, the facades of the castle courtyard are illuminated in grand fashion. Here, court juggler Klausi Klücklich sends shimmering soap bubbles drifting into the night sky, accompanied by the scent of mulled wine and waffles. From time to time, St. Nicholas and his little helpers make surprise appearances, while puppets come to life on Cinderella’s marionette stage.
