Miss the tranquility of fishing?  Want to catch something fresh for dinner?  Head to Outdoor Recreation Center to sign-up for May's IMCOM Europe German American Fishing Course.  During the class find out how you can fish in our privately leased stream in the Black Forest!

Fishing course consists of class lectures held on Kelley Barracks, and a test at our privately leased stream.  Class lectures are scheduled for three days: June 21 (Wednesday), June22 (Thursday), and June 23 (Friday).  Lectures will be held from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. each night.  The test will take place June 24 (Saturday) from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  You must attend all three lecture classes to be eligible to test. 

Test Requirements:

  • Written test
  • Oral test
  • On-site competency test

If you wish to participate in the fishing course, we suggest you sign up as soon as possible.  We are only allowed to host 15 participants per class and spots fill up fast!

Cost

Course Cost:

  • Individual = $60
  • Family = $100

Hunting, Fishing, and Sport Shooting Membership:

  • One Year Membership = $15
  • Three Year Membership = $30
  • Five Year Membership = $45
  • Lifetime Membership = $99

Stream Participation Card:

  • $50 per calendar year

Fishing Permit for Leased Stream:

  • $10 per day
Registration Information

To register for the German American Fishing Course you will need to come by the Outdoor Recreation Center on Panzer Kaserne during normal business hours (Monday, Thursday, and Friday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) to fill out all required paperwork. Individual participants must be 18 years old to attend class.  Minors that are dependents can attend with sponsor.  Registration deadline: Friday, June 16, 2017.
