EUCOM vs. AFRICOM Challenge - 2017
EUCOM is defending. Which command wins the trophy this year?

Join us for this head-to-head challenge between the golfers of EUCOM and AFRICOM! This event puts the golf skills of two major commands into direct competition. The winning team is determined by the lowest 60% of scores for each segment added together for a final total.
If you work for DISA or IMCOM or another directorate you will be placed on the team that you support.
Participants in this unique challenge event will play 27 holes of golf in pairs. The three most popular golf competition formats will be used for 9 holes each by 2-person teams:
- Scramble
- Chapman Alternate shot
- 2-person, 1 Best ball
An established handicap is preferred but not mandatory to play in this event. Prizes will be awarded to the top scoring 2-person teams for each 9-hole segment.
After the morning 18-hole play you'll have lunch and then shotgun start the final 9-holes so that everyone finishes at the same time and can attend the awards presentation.
This event is open to US DoD ID card holders only.
Cost
Entry fee per person:
- $30 for annual members
- $45 for non-members
The entry fee includes green fees, golf car, range balls, and lunch coupon.
Registration Information
Sign up in person in the Pro Shop or by calling. Golfers may register individually or as a team. The registration deadline is Sep. 13, 2017 COB.
We must have at least eight 2-person teams from each command to the tournament to take place.
